Core Responsibilities
The Production Operator is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence through the following key functions:
* Safety and Integrity: Operate facilities within strict safety envelopes, perform daily surveillance rounds, and report all abnormalities to the Control Room Operator immediately.
* Permit Management: Rigorously review work permit packages, confirm hazard identification (JSA), verify zero-energy states, and ensure proper isolation before any work commences.
* Operational Control: Manage equipment isolation, draining, and purging processes, while monitoring safety devices to prevent unauthorized bypasses.
* Emergency Readiness: Serve as a reliable member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) to mitigate risks to personnel, production, and the environment.
* Maintenance Support: Coordinate equipment reinstatement following maintenance activities and ensure critical stocks, such as chemicals and fuel, are consistently replenished.
* Professional Development: Actively participate in safety meetings, contribute to the review of operating procedures, and maintain up-to-date competency assessments.
## Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements
